Ben is a registered psychologist with experience across youth mental health, private practice, workplace rehabilitation, and Employee Assistance Program (EAP) settings. He has worked with people from diverse backgrounds presenting with a range of emotional, behavioural, work-related, and adjustment difficulties. These experiences have shaped a flexible and individualised approach to treatment.
Ben primarily works with adolescents (12+) and adults experiencing anxiety, low mood, stress, adjustment difficulties, workplace concerns, trauma-related symptoms, and challenges with identity and self-esteem. He enjoys helping clients understand what contributes to their difficulties and working with them to address the factors that may be keeping them stuck.
Ben’s approach is collaborative and evidence-based. He draws on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), integrating these approaches according to each client’s circumstances. He aims to help clients better understand themselves and make changes that are meaningful in the context of their own lives.
